Science Visit Day

The Science Visit Day at Carthage is being held on Saturday, October 25, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Central Time. We encourage you to check in 5-15 minutes before the program.

Through a curriculum that emphasizes personal attention by faculty mentors, hands-on learning, and early engagement with authentic research, Carthage natural science majors learn to think independently while working collaboratively to apply modern methods of scientific inquiry to the most pressing questions and challenges of the modern world. In addition to course and degree-program offerings, the division is home to several active research groups that invite students to expand on coursework and contribute to professional disciplinary and cross-disciplinary scholarship.

And there are expansive pre-health opportunities outside of medical school. Carthage’s rigorous classes will equip you with a thorough knowledge of the basic sciences and the ability to think on your feet.
